The growth of curling has brought a corresponding increase in the number of bonspiels hosted by clubs throughout the northeast. Bonspiels are typically three days, although there are some one day ones as well, and can be a variety of different formats. Many members of the club choose to attend bonspiels, but Upper Valley Curling does not have a set bonspiel team. If a group of club members are attending a bonspiel, they might use "Upper Valley Curling" as a team name, but this rotates through the club as needed.
If you're new to curling, "5 and under" and "10 and under" 'spiels are common and can be truly fanastic as they are for folks that have been curling 5 or fewer years or 10 or fewer years.

- The SOB (Schenectadly Open Bonspiel) hosted by Schenectady Curling Club, on dedicated ice, in Schenectady, NY. Typically held in January.
- VERspiel hosted by Rutland Rocks Curling Club, on arena ice, in Rutland, VT. This one day bonspiel is usually in late February or early March.
- Mudspiel hosted by Plymouth Curling Club, on arena ice, at Plymouth University in Plymouth, NH. Typically held in April.
- Ciderspiel hosted by Plymouth Curling Club, on arena ice, at Plymouth University in Plymouth, NH. Typically held in September.
- The Maine-iac 'Spiel by Belfast Curling Club, on dedicated ice, in Belfast, ME. Typicaly held in November.
- The Cool Duck 5 & Under Bonspiel, hosted by Ardsley Curling Club, on dedicated ice, in Ardsley-on-Hudson, NY. Typically held in November.
- The Schenectady 10 & Under Bonspiel hosted by Schenectady Curling Club, on dedicated ice, in Schenectady, NY. Typically held in December.
